Changing the pulls out will be no problem at all. I would guess that being a 4 oz hide & pretty stiff, is probably hard on the NOS #5 zips. The Crown zips seem to have fairly fragile pulls. finally got a pic outdoors that shows the hide color correctly. Doesn't look as much like a pumpkin as...- Steve S.

4 oz is pretty thick for one of these! The main zip shouldn't be an issue to replace, but the sleeve zips could be very tricky, unless you have someone with lots of experience change them out. The B-2 has a pretty complicated setup on the sleeves.- Steve S.

Restored original Gordon & Ferguson M-422a size 42
Just finished up a total restoration on this one. Would make an excellent wearer! Jacket was completely disassembled & everything was restitched except the back of the collar. Still Looking for Cuffs and Waist for G-1 Jacket.
I'll take some pics in the next day or so of how to sew the cuffs to the sleeve & attach the liner at the same time. Alternatives to Horween Chromexcel?

Aero Zipper Wavyness
I have numerous pics of original M-422a's & G-1's that had this issue so is nothing specific to any manufacturer or a new development.. It's just something that happens when dealing with natural animal hides. You just have to be aware during construction & try to work with it the best you can.- Steve S.
