Photos of cool jackets owned by others (non-brand specific)

Awesome jacket and I’m really fond of the jackets they put out. They have so many great designs and like their utilization of different colors. My favorite Y2 is their 30’s German sport jacket

Dave Himel interview by Carl Murawski

It’s great you put out the videos that you do, they’re insightful and the information is worth keeping around. It would nice to hear how you got into leather jackets and listing some of your favorite jackets of all time. Whatever you decide to put out, I’ll be sure to watch!

Dave Himel interview by Carl Murawski

I thought it was a really good interview and nice insight on Himel and his brand. Always great to have leather jacket related content. Does anyone have any other recommendations on YouTube or elsewhere? I’ve lately been watching a lot of @tmitchell59

    My Himel Canuck

Looks great! I just received mine just the other week and absolutely love wearing it. I did not opt for the keystone back belt but I think it’s a good look either way you go. The contrast stitching is also a great touch!

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I’m really glad how things have turned out. With everyone’s input has eased any doubts that I had and will wear it proudly. Thanks for your kind words. I actually find that to be the case as well. Even though the fabric isn’t the thickest, it does well in cooler temps. I actually had Ben...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

It’s trim for sure but still able to move around with only a bit of resistance. I’m super excited to see how it will wear, pretty much haven’t stopped wearing it since I got it. I’m also interested to see how it will compare to my incoming Heron which will be in Med brown pigment finish.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

This being my first jacket made me quite self-conscious and unsure of how everything is supposed to be. But thanks for all the feedback and really glad to be apart of this community!

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Here’s a picture I took when I first got it whilst it’s buttoned up. Thanks! I figured to go ahead and get what I actually wanted rather than settle for something similar. I’ve played that game before with boots and feel like you end up spending more money in the long run. The design and the...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Thanks Jake! I’m hoping it forms to my chest as it breaks in and loosens up a bit. It definitely feels best when unbuttoned and I think looks better too

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Thanks! I was really nervous that it wasn’t going to fit properly, especially with some other members experience going custom. The leather is just spectacular in person and need to take some close up shots

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Thank you for complements :) I’m really excited see this age and break in. You’ve got it exactly right, I also have the black ones as well. They’re my pants for work and find them very comfortable

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

This jacket is a work of art, and I’m excited for you to get it and see how it works out! The olive contrast stitching was a good call and great overall design

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Well, my first ever leather jacket is here! Himel Canuck in Shinki Med. Brown oil tanned. I’ve had it for about a week and half or so. Wanted to post some pictures and see what you lot think about the fit. To me the area that I could have gone a bit bigger is the chest. Other than that I think...

That’s great looking jacket and yeah I agree the two tone does not work on this. Going with Greg seems to be a good choice and hope it works out well for you! The back of this jacket looks to be about the same as the San Mateo sans the lacing on the sides.

@dudewuttheheck Could you post some pictures of the Freewheelers/Bootleggers version, haven’t been able to find it online. You said it was called the Pasadena right?

Footwear to go with our jackets

These look so good!! I have a pair on the way on the 181 last and your pair makes more excited and impatient! The last gives the boot a nice balance of ruggedness and sophistication

Footwear to go with our jackets

Just requested to follow him and look forward to seeing his work, it's always great to find new makers. I'm not too versed in cowboy boots but can always appreciate craftsmanship. One of my favorite cowboy makers is Lisa Sorrell based out of Oklahoma. She does such expectational work that she is...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Just to reiterate what everyone has said but such a killer jacket. The closeup of the buckle is just amazing and you definitely have yourself a stunner of a jacket.

Ask a Question, Get An Answer About Outerwear

Yeah! It’s intended to be as a smooth leather upper cleaner but for whatever reason end ups working well to clean the rubber. One of the many tricks I’ve picked up working as a cobbler

Ask a Question, Get An Answer About Outerwear

Saphir Renomat is what I’ve found to work really well on the sneaker sole edges. It’s hard to get them back to how they started but does look better overall
