Yeah, that sounds like a good technique...I’ll find my spray bottle. Did you use hot or boiling water for this? I actually have just been out at a Christmas market and got caught in a sudden freezing downpour. I guess that will help! Like you said, those guys back in the day didn’t give a damn...- MeachamLake

I wonder if it's possible to just apply some hot water treatment to certain areas of the fleece (i.e. the most visible ones on the collar and cuffs?) The leather itself is super soft and doesn't need any more softening up, it's just the fleece is incredibly fluffy and at the moment is wacky and...- MeachamLake

What's interesting is that my girlfriend is exactly like this, but only when I'm shopping for tailored clothes (suits, ties, etc etc). She strangely seems to love it...picking out ties, shoes, fabrics and so on. She even travelled with me to London for every single fitting of a suit I had made...- MeachamLake

I feel at this point it's probably fair to include one small detail I may have missed out in my story initially - my girlfriend does have two horses and competes in eventing at quite a good level. Sure, I do agree with you to a point. I think B3s, ANJ-4s and Irvins are really cool but I could never wear one. The B6 is probably the most sheepskin I could manage. Still, when it’s 0 degrees outside like it is tonight, it’s hard not to like sheepskin! :)- MeachamLake
