Here's a Borsalino that a lounger sent me for a conversion from homburg to fedora. Black felt and crown ribbon, trimmed the brim slightly and added a charcoal binding . Still managed to maintain a healthy 2 3/4 brim .

Thanks for the comments guys. I am still searching for one of these to keep for myself in a 7 1/2 with a wide brim which is nearly impossible to find these days.

Nice job TJones.
Here's a Midcentury Borsalino I recently restored/converted from a beat up homburg.
Gas bath, new ribbons , trimmed brim, wind cord, and sweatband. Felt is the chameleon like Reutinio which is best described as mouse grey/brown. Hard to pick ribbons , especially vintage stock...
This is a custom conversion for a lounger that I just completed. Vintage 1960s Stetson ; brim trimmed, w/binding and new crown ribbon. Had a cattlemans crease previously with thin ribbons.

Forgot to mention this is a 3x and felt is soft and pliable. Also that price includes any work you want done on the hat: trim brim, upsize, new sweat, ribbons etc. It's just like having a custom hat made but getting better felt quality.

Have this big brim 7 1/4 in mint condition for possible conversion or customize to your specs , like a blank canvas to create or keep as is. Felt is super nice and pliable on crown and stiffer brim that will work up nicely with steam. Perfect hat to up size to a 3/8 or a 1/2 and still have...
Nice hats all.
Finally had a warmer sunny day here in Wi . This is a recent restoration hat I did a few days ago . Cream 3x Stetson. Brim is 3 1/4 and did a good job of keeping the sun off my face.

Here's a cream colored vintage Stetson 3X I recently restored. Had some minor surface mothing on brim bottom and some staining over cattlemans crease. Took the hat apart to pounce the felt and washed it a couple times to lessen the yellowing. Also resized it up to 7 1/2 from 1/4 while...
