Worked for my parents, although the other way around. My mom was 25 yrs his junior. It's worked for friends of mine, in the 15-20+ older range, so I don't think it's the age that gets in the way. Maturity issues, and expectations, like in any relationships, seem to be the killers.
I had a little excema when I was young but I grew out of it. I wonder if my allergies are connected? I haven't really looked into it, been far too busy with my other health issues to really explore the causes. I use moisturizer for men almost daily because of the chemicals in the air around...
You're right. Problem was, she was much more immature than me.........she was a "party girl" who never quite grew up. She also tried to hide a major alcohol abuse problem. Even though a few women in their upper 40's turn my head, I have resolved to leave well enough alone, and date within my...
LOL!!! I'm not that much older than you, but my ex now qualifies for AARP membership, LOL!!!
I'm NEVER again going for an older woman who likes people MY age :D Cougar means NO :D
I don't have most of the effects people my age have (yet) thankfully. I just have other health issues I was born with, but nothing really new with age so far. I know it's yet to come :/ But even then, it beats the alternative
I'm listening to a classic alternative channel on itunes right now, aimed at the 30+ crowd.........and the ads are for ARTHRITIS medications.....talk about feeling old. I've just decided I'm going to grow old gracefully when age starts to leave more tell-tale signs than can be ignored, snicker...
Same here.....right place, right clothing for the venue, and I can easily drop 10 yrs. It's our generation as a whole.....I've been noticing, we're really NOT aging the same way our parents did, for example
Guys do it too......
"Just For Men" is cleverly-marketed non-permanent hair dye ;) I say cleverly marketed, because the men who use it have to 1) pay more than permanent hair dye with a woman's head on the box, 2) buy it more regularly because it's not permanent,
I almost share the same...
:)
That's the thing here I think.......if women start accepting themselves more, and caring less what the media portrays, the media will have to change because their marketing will no longer be working. If people stop buying all the diet supplements, stop trying to fit into size 4 and below...
Firstly, apologies for poking my head in the ladies' forum, but fortworthgal is right. Media portrayals of women are horrendous.
A woman should have curves, a figure, and some life experience behind her :) After all, a girl doesn't become a woman until she's grown up.
There's a forum called "New members post here" or something like that, I keep forgetting the actual name. That's where everyone's intros go. Welcome to the Lounge :)
JPS.......that takes me back. Lucky's here are still filterless and only come in the red/white packs. I recall that in England...
Could be lots of things. If you've never worked with radios before or electronics of this vintage, PLEASE don't try yourself - you can be seriously hurt, or killed
