That Margate is really sharp. If I could get away with a brim that narrow, I would want it in my collection. Pulling Off the Casual Look
I think the fedora with casual thing has a lot to do with one's overall look, as well as attitude. Plus, just as with fedoras in other attire, you have to learn what works for you and what doesn't. I find the casual look works best for me in the summer, with straw hats. Also, narrower brims...- Not-Bogart13

Well, by now most of you know that I'm a huge fan of Art Fawcett's work, and that I'm a sucker for bound edge brims. I had this hat - an Indy hat - with a block shape that just didn't hit me right and a brim that was too wide. I figured I had plenty of Indy hats already (3 should be enough)...- Not-Bogart13

Want to use a cap/hat for Halloween party...ideas?
1. How about wearing a newsboy to be a News Boy? Grab a newspaper, and old jacket, and stuff your trousers into your socks! 2. Got a bush jacket? Question on proper storage
I have never used silica gel, but I recommend cedar highly. Chips, balls, blocks, whatever. Just be sure to replace it with fresh cedar ever year. It not only helps repel moths, but also reduces minor unwanted odors.- Not-Bogart13

The ribbon color came out very well in the pictures (better than the felt color), so yes. It does have a slight pinkish hue. The name of the felt color is not on the tag, but it matches Art's "natural" almost exactly.- Not-Bogart13
