I'm going to make a pair of Flannel Trousers - suggestions welcome

That's pretty close. I want a flatter front, and closely shaped small back, less "grrr", more "oh I say".

I'm going to make a pair of Flannel Trousers - suggestions welcome

All three fastening methods does seem a lot, however perhaps the trousers were made that way for individual to chose, who knows? BK doesn't like both, I imagine he's suggesting pirate pants and I agree that would be wrong on classic flannel trousers. However Edward would prefer the option for...

Yes the jewellery is also rather questionable. However back on track just received the flannel invoice. If you have any points you think I should consider with the flannels now's the time to chime in. Thanks.

    Putting it all together

I find results more exciting when getting dressed in the dark socks, tie, shirt and suit as long as they don't match, most of the time, I'm good.

Thanks BK. Great stuff will look to that TT - only the fabric is so heavy I wonder if that will be an issue? I guess it would then be braces or nothing.

I'm going to make a pair of Flannel Trousers - suggestions welcome

Yes that's pretty funny, I didn't notice the model I've shown offers every way possible to keep them from falling down. It is my goal to remove all features to make the trousers as elegant as possible.

I'm going to make a pair of Flannel Trousers - suggestions welcome

BK when I say cutting I mean making from top to bottom. I am not tailoring these. They will be done by fine fingers. I am just discussing features here. Barmey the pattern looks awesome.

Edit above. I will use a tailor to cut the cloth. I just want to go deep on the features. But thanks for the book suggestion I will get it.

What kind of lining do they use in the sleeves of jackets with shearling?

I had my Herc done recently with a heavy shearling lining and the sleeves were done in a very soft thick black cord which is very silky and slippery, its all a matter of getting the nap around the right way.
