I'll pitch in first here and say that I would estimate that more than half had full leather sweat, and a smaller proportion had half- sweats, or just leather in front to deal with forehead sweat. The difference was price point. Full leather cost more, so the cheaper models didn't have it...
Blackthorn - GORGEOUS!! I saw that cap on JC's Facebook page. Now you'll be spoiled forevermore! Looks great on you.

Hi fellas! Haven't dropped in for a while, but it's a great parade of hats n caps, and a more accurate up-to-date weather-reading compendium cannot be found!
Thought I'd share my new cap, made with vintage Japanese fabrics. Full set of pics, in better quality (damn iPhone!) in the Cap Faction...
Thanks guys, much appreciated! I'm test driving it on my flight back up to Brisbane, and it feels really good.
Barry/Johnny: grasshopper gives thanks to his sensei!
CRH: the shirt is Japanese ikat-weave cotton, made by a cool place here in Oz. Many years of good wear from that shirt.

Hey Ed, I just happened upon an old thread that chronicles you showing Johnny C an 8 dart Mister Freedom and it bowling him over and starting him on his cap-making exploits! I never knew you were the instigator. Belated thanks to you!!
Ed, there is plenty of very high-tech, but the small population and lack of viable competition creaters one of the only places I know of where you STILL cannot get truly unlimited data on a plan. Most expensive internet in the world, I read not long ago.
