Actually a guy on another board is sending me SEVEN .32 Remington rounds.:) Another guy sent me around 20 .30 Remington cases. Apparently they can be expanded to .32 Rem. That is a project for the future. I need to get some more experience at it first.- fireman

I did some years ago and have just started getting back into it. However the current ammo panic has me focusing on some more mundane cartridges. The .303 is a great round. Have you ever watched some of the old car rally's? Endurance Rally Association or the Peking to Paris rally? There are some guys who still drive these old Bentleys in them. Very cool! They are definitely not thousanaires!- fireman

Great Land Rover and great rifles!! I have a couple of SMLE's...WW2 Lithgow and a WW1 Canadian marked one. I just picked up a Remington Model 8. Bad part is that it is a .32 Remington. No ammo available. Only a couple of the specialty shops make it. Teaching irons first should be common...- fireman

I really like iron sights also. Old school rifles with irons are my favorite. When plinking or shooting just for fun I prefer irons. However optics are just just better when it comes to hunting. Far less chance of wounding an animal. The problem is when a guy who never shot at anything...- fireman

Sigh.....we have an over population problem with Turkeys because hunters valued them enough to pus the state to import them from Missouri. Hunters made it happen. More specifically hunters $$ made it happen. You need $$ to save the Rhino, lions in Tsavo etc. Most African nations are exactly...- fireman

There would be no conservation in the US without hunters. Turkey are all over the place around here because they were brought in from Missouri as a game animal. They were gone from much of their traditional range. Africa is not the US....they don't have anywhere near the resources of the US...- fireman

Sure the population has increased but not everywhere. Kenya ranks 118th in the world as for as population density. It doesn't have the mega cities like other countries. The lion population is down in Tsavo and in other national parks. That is the troubling part. If the govt. doesn't value...- fireman
