    lost worlds

15oz duck as a lining is insane. I love it. No wonder it takes forever to break that particular jacket in.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I've been lusting after this Hinoya, house branded, blanket lined denim jacket for a while. Not sure if I'll pull the trigger or not yet.

Ye Old Cotton Drill Lining Thread

Cotton drill fan here. I really dislike flannel as a liner, for shirts, sheets or pretty much anything. Melton wool is OK but not in the sleeves as I get too hot with a full wool liner.

    Freewheelers Switchyard coat

I bought it at Jelado (Clutch Cafe) while on vacation in Osaka a few months back. I have a Single Rider also and love it and have become a real fan of Rainbow Country. I own a few belts also and they are tough as nails.

    Electric Leather Studio

The paralellogram-shaped pocket is the jewel on the crown for me on that jacket.

    Freewheelers Switchyard coat

I own already. Just not pre weathered like above.

    Freewheelers Switchyard coat

I am also considering another Rainbow Country so it is a coin toss but I own and know RC so I am leaning more toward this one at the moment. Vs this.

    Freewheelers Switchyard coat

I did like the Brakeman quite a bit but felt it was just not quite right for me. The collar sits a bit high on them for my liking also. Kind of like how a shirt collar does rather than a jacket collar. I just really dig that Switchyard so much.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

RC again like the last few days. Same jacket, different boots today.

    Freewheelers Switchyard coat

I was looking at that old thread last night. The Switchyard is hard to tell for me if it has that flare or not. With the Journeyman or Brakeman it seems more obvious. None of my Rainbow Country jackets have that obvious flare as it is more subtle how the waist will narrow then broaden at the...

    Freewheelers Switchyard coat

Good day all. I am am interested in a Freewheelers Switchyard coat in rude black and would like input from anyone here who has experience with one. I would like to know if the bottom hem area of the jacket flares out like the Freewheelers Brakeman or Journeyman coats seem to do. I tried a...

Footwear to go with our jackets

Cool boots Dude and I'd happily stomp around in those. What sole is on there? I can kind of see a bit of yellow so I assume a Vibram 700? I'll check out their instapin site asap.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I dig the asymmetrical pocket flaps on the grey one but I think you're right about it being too light. That would get dirty, fast.

    Lewis Leathers / LL Cowhide

I recently checked out a lot of LL stuff in person while visiting one of their shops. The shop was very nice but I'd pass on LL. I was very disappointed in the quality and had built them up in my mind over the years as something great but I was very underwhelmed and thought some didn't fit very...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Not here. I went for a bicycle ride yesterday and so many people out and not distancing when other people are near or go by. I feel safer cycling in rush hour traffic with distracted drivers than I did on that cycle path yesterday. Kids, dogs and people everywhere. Control your litter of kids...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Real nice Boyo. I've been wanting a shawl collar since selling a Thedi that did not really fit at all plus I wanted something more robust. I did like the slim fit and that was about it. How does the LW fit? Is it a boxy fit like a lot of the shawl collars available?

Footwear to go with our jackets

Correct. Distressed smooth and they used a slightly darker shade on the toe caps.
