This morning on TCM’s Noir Alley, Lightning Strikes Twice (1951). Once again, another movie that despite its flaws is an entertaining watch.
Last night on TCM, In the Heat of the Night. A movie that I can watch again and again. Poitier and Steiger are so much fun to watch.
:D
Lady ToE whipped up Bacon, cheesy scrambled eggs, biscuits, hash browns, and coffee For breakfast this morning. Now it is time for me to do the dishes.
:D
We also try many variations. One of my favorite is lentil tacos. Lady ToE is magical in her creation. Great texture, smell, and taste. They are lighter on the stomach which allows me to eat even more than I normally would.

Lady in Cement (1968) on FXM. Frank Sinatra as private dick Tony Rome. A sequel to 1967’s Tone Rome. Entertaining with a nice cast. It is nice to see Dan Blocker as Gronsky. Always enjoyed him as Hoss Cartwright on Bonanza. A very different role, but well done. Worth a watch.
:D
Had to look up “Lamacun, filled with Döner Kebab.” Sounds pretty enjoyable to me. I would definitely try a few bites, if not more, of this wonderful sounding meal.

Instead of Hangover Square (1945) on TCM’s Noir Alley, it’s The Detective (1968) and its taboo for the time storyline on FXM. although I have watched The Detective a number of times, I find its grittiness and cast of actors draws me back. It’s probably my attraction to the private/cop...
Yesterday morning on TCM’s Noir Alley, Highway 301. Despite the hokie intro, it was visually entertaining. I would watch it again probably more as background entertainment with the occasional look up and see.
Right now, The Maltese Falcon on TCM while waiting for Lady ToE so we can head out to...
Tonight it will be a couple of pork tamale, rice, beans, and a Guinness or Dos Equis.
:D
It was a Dos Equis. The bartender had just a shot left of Jack Daniels left in the bottle so she brought it over to me in a shot glass. A nice evening was had by me.
Cirino’s Bloody Mary mix
Created by a local enough restaurant in the little town of Grass Valley. Great food and the best Bloody Marys I’ve ever had. Discovered the Bloody Mary mix first and decided to try the restaurant later. we are pretty darn happy we did.
:D
A Kiss Before Dying (1956)
Entertaining enough although if filmed in black and white, I figure it would be a little more entertaining. Despite its flaws, it is a nice way to start the day while sipping on a cup of coffee.
