I've been lucky. Mackenna is a "mini me" in a lot of ways ... and she'll tell you that, too.

She absolutely loves hiking ... and rock climbing. But her true passion is dancing. She's a quite accomplished ballet dancer. Earlier this week (when the above photos were taken) we went on a 12 mile hike and Mackenna danced almost half way down the mountain.

Your daughter is growing up fast. If you recall, my granddaughter Mackenna is the same age as your daughter. We, too, do a lot of hiking. Here are a couple photos.

Christmas 2021 I was able to get all the grandchildren together at one time (these days that's hard to do).

I drove my '27 Bugatti (replica) across Old 105 (an old road that crosses the mountain a couple miles from where I live) today. It was a great day to be outside and taking in the views.

In the front yard of my house there is (was) a big maple tree. My granddad, Will Brown (1877-1932), planted that tree sometime in the early 1920s. The old tree provided shade and a big limb for a swing for a long time. Over the last couple of years two of the main branches, as well as the...

"Wheel ants" ... so, that's been my problem. I'm going to rush out right now and spray my wheels. The only thing more idiotic than an advertisement like that is the fools who actually believed it and bought the product. The level of gullibility of some people amazes me.

Yes, and I apologize for not replying about this earlier ("stuff" gets in the way, etc.). Turns out I either had a pinched gasket on the oil filter cap or just hadn't soundly fitted the cap on before being tightened. Once I took the cap off, cleaned it and the gasket good, and carefully...

UPDATE: The problem just appeared to have been corrected. After putting on a washer the small leak stopped around the nut. However, after running a while (just to make sure everything was ok prior to driving again) the oil is RUNNING OUT from around the filter housing. I did nothing but add a...

Upon closer inspection it would appear that the old washer just fell apart (probably the screw/nut was tightened down enough to FUNAR it). I have replaced the old washer ) what was left of it) with a new one and the problem has been corrected.

I discovered an oil leak coming from the wing-nut holding on the top of the oil filter on my '48 Plymouth Special Deluxe. I recently had the oil changed (and a new filter). It's a very small "seeping" kind of leak (as opposed to a "squirting" leak under pressure). Could a gasket have been...

After a much too long time, today I was able to install a new windscreen on my '27 Bugatti (replica). Installing the windscreen on the passenger side was easy, but figuring out how to do the same on the driver's side will take a bit of work.
