Just realized my date was a couple days ago. A New Year’s resolution of sorts that i kept.

I love that show even though i’ve been clean and sober some 20 years.

An aside:
A new car cost you about $850 in the 40’s, about $1500-2000 in the 50’s.
So buying say a Stetson One Hundred was a big deal.
I think about these things when i look at a Stetson One Hundred.
We have some very exclusive hats here when we find these old hats.

Hard to say. Depends on the leather used and how tanned, etc. Your’s looks quite substantial. What brand is it? Best way is to wear it often, especially if new. Getting it somewhat wet then wearing helps speed the process. There are several threads in the leather jacket threads discussing break...
