Thats for sure. A fella on here recommended a full size down for The Flat Heads so I took his advice. The boots fit nicely but wearing the right thickness of sock makes a big difference.
I was going to get Mr Lou but it would have been a long wait. I opted for a pair of The Flat Head engineers. Im an 11D brannock and Bakers recommended a 10 E in Mr. Lou.
Not sure how i would describe it other than I like its characteristics in particular the shape of the toe box and how it feels on foot. I don't like pointy, bulbous or square toe boots.
Size 10 Viberg Tumbled hh in gently used condition. Very little wear on these. 1035 last. Dainite sole . Viberg box and bags included. $600 CAN + the ride.
Hey thx for the idea. I will not try to dye it. I've taken it to the dry cleaners. They will be sending it out to a place that specializes in leather cleaning. So we will see.
Yes. The dish soap didn’t seem to work But who knows. It’s going in the closet for now. I have other jackets to wear. Not going to stress about it anymore.
I could strip the leather with acetone and redye the leather I think. Or,
I could send the jacket back to Aero and have them replace the back panel which of course may cost quite a bit. I think I will email them and see what they say.
Yes its Vicenza in seal brown. I think I messed it up worse. I scrubbed it with saddle soap. Do you think dyeing the leather dark brown is an option?
Thx.
