Well, details, hide, hardware, overall craftsmanship. Like if i see flathead jacket, freewheelers jackets- they are special because of the overall quality (craftsmanship+ hide+ hardware+ amazing details, designs, etc). Like for example i got a real mccoy buco j-24, and it's not special...- Davidm

Caring for Chromexcel Boots
Can confirm what Saphir Renovateur works good on CXL. Used it on my Merlot CXL Vibergs, wore them kinda hard, and now they looks almost like new but with good patina :)- Davidm

US Wings: Need an Honest Opinion
i have horsehide US Wings A-2. Leather is okish, but knits and zip are just terrible after 1 year of wear. Plus some details of the fit i really don't like: arms are too wide, collar is too big. So IMHO better to look at the other maker.- Davidm
