Received my new Langlitz yesterday. Came out quite nice!
Please no comments about my camo sweatpants! [emoji847]
Edit: added one more pic which shows the Royal blue colour really nicely.
I believe their own wax and brushing: http://www.tenjinworks.com/product/item/detail.php?id=4394
Google translate:

but their answering to emails is also a bit of a hit and miss. I reckon most of the guys at Tenjin have very limited understanding of english.
Thanks for the compliment!
Tenjin guys use only(?) high quality vegtanned cowhide, which they call "kip-leather". I don't know if the weight varies, but I estimate that mine is about 3 oz - 3.5 oz. It's rather soft and easy to wear right out of the box, so nothing like Horween CXL hides...
The biggest issue was whether or not I was ready to stomach the upcharge for size 50, which was considerable... but truth be told I would probably not have been able to order the jacket at all without the help of @red devil. Him knowing the Tenjin guys and speaking japanese with them made the...
Unfortunately I put on some weight after receiving that jacket and I haven't been wearing it because its too tight for me at the moment. So its looking new and hanging in my "I'll wear these when I lose 20 pounds" rack.
Lovely jacket! I really like the white contrast stitching! If the lining bugs you now, it will most probably bug you even more in the future. If you decide to keep it as it is, at least try to agree with Vanson that you can send it for re-lining during next year or so, if it keeps bugging you.
Thanks for the compliments! I do have some nice pieces, I'll admit that much! and yes there is about 50-60 altogether. Hardly the largest collection around here, but I'm working on it! I should sell 20-30 jackets which I don't like all that much, but I'm too lazy. Maybe next autumn...
Yeah, I've acknowledged the challenge. I don't think I will live that long, so I'm working on a new method, let's call it "the Windy city solution" where I sell all my jackets after couple of months, so I don't need to worry about the break in! Smart, eh? ;)
Looking at Langlitz Japan's pictures helps a lot to figure out what might be possible to do.
I ordered two:
1. light black cow Columbia with hidden collar and lapel snaps and detachable fur collar
2. Royal blue cow Cascade, cossack collar, shoulder pads fitted to yoke, elbow pads and pinstripes.
Well, I do have royal blue cross zip, burgundy/ navy twotone peacoat, and camo leather / green canvas jacket coming in near future so my collection is indeed getting more colourful soon!
