These are my super heavy Gustins in the straight cut, which is definitely on the slim side, but it works for me. The fabric has a pretty pronounced reppe weave to it which I'm digging. Very happy with these.

My first decent hats years ago were wool. They also shrank like crazy, became misshapen in very light rain, and are no longer in my collection. They were also modern hats, so consider your variables.

Doctor Strange, I'd even say as recently as the 90s, pros weren't using 35mm unless it was for photojournalism, nature, etc. There's nothing wrong with 35mm... that you can't fix with medium format!

The only ones I know of though cost an arm and a leg. Though I guess that would mean you'd only need one, which would reduce the cost.
