I really like Akubra's hemp hats. They're nowhere near as light as panamas, but they're much much sturdier, and water doesn't bother them in the least, and they all come with leather sweatbands. My favorite casual bigger ones are the Reef and Range with 3.25" raw edge brims, which are the same... -

The Roblees are early 50s similar to the Florsheims of that era. I have had a few pairs. That tell tale toecap stitching and the way the vamp is shaped around the lacing, The AEs are early too and exemplify how much better they used to be. Fabulous. I would give the suede a good brush and then some suede cleaner. The croc/gator could get some Reptan or a drop of Cadillac Crème but does not look dry. Maybe some Caddy applied inside the shoes on the underside of the suede and round heel area. What size are they?- cookie
