Flipping jackets and the spirit of the lounge
I see this happen all the time in the horror memorabilia collecting community. People will send items to artists in the hobby to be repainted, or restored, and then turn around and sell it a week after getting it back, sometimes claiming they saw another piece they wanted more. Binged Cabinet of Curiosities on Netflix. Well done, with some great guest stars. I haven't finished the last episode yet, but Episode 7 is probably the one I've liked best so far. Not exactly a new hat, but I couldn't find one for showing off hat bands. I cannibalized this new band off a cheap $20 western hat for my Willis & Geiger hat. For all the trouble finding a band like this has been, $20 was worth every penny. -
