How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I think so? There are no tags on the inside, but there’s an “L” on the shorthorn label which I’m assuming means large if that means anything. At the same time though, it’s pretty small for a Large, more like a medium at most. I’d have to probably find it by checking individual LVC look books...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Arrived today. It's hard to overstate how immensely cool this looks in person. I was half-expecting it to fall apart or something but the leather has held up wonderfully despite the obvious wear.

Flipping jackets and the spirit of the lounge

IMO it's hard to see how that would work out for anyone doing it repeatedly in the long-term. This site is a community of hobbyists and the spirit of the Classifieds feels geared more toward passing along reasonably priced pieces to those who share the interest. I'd feel kind of crummy if a...

I always wanted to own an actual shorthorn Levi's jacket and ended up finding this beauty.

FS: Closet Cleanout: Sheeley Monarch, Schott Type 2, LL Bean Bomber

Doing a bit of a closet cleanout to stay focused on the jackets I love wearing. Extra photos and details are on the eBay links. Sheeley Monarch: https://www.ebay.com/itm/155355489938 If you know you know. Dave Sheeley makes arguably some of the best repros out there and is inarguably the best...

WTB: Y2 Suede Wool Pile-lined Lunch Coat Size 38

I agree it isn't super hard to find this style vintage but my search for this specific ranch coat style (I don't know what Y'2 meant by lunch coat either) have led to Levi's originals that are imo overpriced or otherwise look weird/cheap. I also like that the lining here is actually wool. Point...

WTB: Y2 Suede Wool Pile-lined Lunch Coat Size 38

Can be seen here: https://theshopvancouver.com/collections/new-arrivals/products/y2-leather-wj-03-steer-suede-wool-lunch-coat-camel Hoping to find the jacket linked above in a size 38. This style occasionally comes up with other repro brands so if you have one in a similar size that you think...

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

@Claybertrand I think we agree that generally this style doesn't look its best with added letters or patches like a "real" varsity jacket. I also think you outlined that this might be a generational thing. For younger folks like me I think the style has taken on more of a 90's streetwear vibe...

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

I've always loved the varsity jacket look and tbh am a little surprised to hear about folks specifically not liking it. They dress up or down really nicely and are great for everyday wear if you don't crave an all-leather jacket all the time. That red, white, and blue one in particular is...
