Mmm… the way the side chinches are sewed is definitely not like that on any other Highwayman I’ve seen. Also the fit is somewhat different.
It’s a good jacket though… special order at very least or well done fake
If your actual chest is 42” a size 38” highwayman might look like it’s got a p2p that works ok but then it’s going to feel small in many other places (the neck hole is way too tight, the front pulls… etc.) .
The highwayman has very low armholes making the p2p measurement not that useful imho...
I’d go with a 42 adjusting the length to suit your arms and height. Maybe a 40 could work but you’d be pushing it already (neck hole might be too small, etc).
It’s an oversized pattern design. If you prefer a more fitted cut then I’d consider the premier version.
Yeah RC is in another league compared to Y2, gotta agree with dude here. Y2 gives me CIDU vibes. Not to say they don’t make nice jackets but it’s a different product.
Like others, I too never made a profit selling any jacket here or elsewhere. 40 to 50% loss is the standard. Also no matter how reasonable the asking price is, people always try to negotiate the price down… is that good behaviour or acceptable? Most people here are guilty of that.
To me...
Yeah I don’t think so anymore but I see where you are coming from. I tried to explain that in my previous post. The reason why a 38 is not a 42 in a highwayman/50s based jacket it’s why your side laces on a 38 need to be let all out. The problem is not with Aero’s sizing but imho with your...
I was this close to pull the trigger on that jacket, asked the seller if the top left shoulder was alright as I couldn’t work it out from the pictures. He said just discolouration and no cracking but this morning the jacket was gone! :)
Let me know if it doesn’t work out ;)
The problem is that you are a 42 and went with a 38 (to achieve a trim upper body I assume) that’s why you need to let out the side laces all the way.
The typical size down 2 on the 50s block brings up all sorts of problems (tight neck, etc etc). I guess for some people it works out but it’s a...
Oh right I see. Yes never seen it on any western retailer website, including the pseudo official uk webstore. Looks good.
I rarely ever look at the Japanese RMC website as especially on a phone it is just a nightmare to navigate. They are so much into repros that they reproduced a ‘98 website...
I wonder why anybody is surprised by these jackets and their pricing… is it because S&S are selling them? In a way I see how that shop has shifted a bit from their initial ethos (selling expensive items but with high intrinsic quality? That obviously can’t be the case with Visvim…) but it’s...
