Conic glazed is the same as Conic but, according to Shawn, it is "waxed distressed" and while Conic is "supple leather" the glazed "is little stand in nature". The horse is kinda what I’m thinking too. The only pics are on 5* website (I copied here a page or two back). We have one member with horse on his shearling jacket and it looks good. He says it’s good quality. It’s a leap of faith for another unknown to me hide from 5*. edit: sorry, no idea...- Hobbes1

I think, ultimately, sending the jacket maker your leather is a process that some people really like. There is no doubt what you are going to get in a finished product. I believe that Shawn’s operation is capable of taking that expensive leather and turning it into a great jacket for lower labor costs and at a faster turnaround than high end brands. This may boost the appeal to some folks. Just my $0.02 worth.- Hobbes1
