Why Don't We Have "Heroes" Today?
There are no heroes today because the media - TV that is - makes people believe we are all heroes. Just watch stuff like X factor or any other stupid so called talent-show. Every teenager with a voice like a mouse and two left feet believe they are Gods gift to humanity. Who needs heroes then?- Spitfire

I know. I get exactly the same feeling and sometimes I simply have to find out. Just like you say, it always starts with a photo. A stare to the camera, a grin - something I can't even define. But in order to understand the broughter picture and what it was like, it often helps to follow one... -

I feel a certain decline in standards right here on this forum! Somebody puts up a post with a question, other people try to give answers. Try to help this someone out. I am not really into displays and stuff like that. Don't want to have our home turned into a museum - and I am pretty sure my wife doesn't either. Long-hair fur-collared bomber jackets
You might try the soaking/drying treatment. Depending on the fur of course! I did it to a whole Irvin jacket, which had some very fluffy, straight sheepskin (almost like it was straightened with a hairdryer). I soaked the whole jacket in the bathtub. Let it dry outside - hanging in the wind...- Spitfire
