I took my "beater" No. 1 apart so the only thing left on it is the brim binding. Naptha* soak, 6 hours, and brushing with a toothbrush removed zero dirt. When I strained the coleman fuel* back into the can the only thing left in my paper towel filter was detritus... looked like accumulated...
I grabbed the LL Bean/Stetson Moose River on the way out the door this morning. We're back to gray skies and rain here again.

I tried on several hats to make sure, but that pecan just pairs perfectly with the suit. I can't take pictures well enough to capture the depth of the felt. I love this pecan felt.
