New Strat
If they were going to recycle, the way to go would've been a thin ribbon, bound brim NOSTALGIA re-boot. Better proportions & truer in form to its' original, iconic namesake, IMHO.
Wow
:jaw:
Your right tho' ... looks like a downs/temple/chatham with a thin ribbon & the selfsame unbalanced proportions of most of their dress hat line. As far as modern Stetsons go, dollar for dollar, I'd prefer a Roadmaster to this "Stratoliner". Sure would like to see some measurements...
...you are not set up for pms so I will have to tell you here that you've mistaken me for another. I have never ordered from Art & never used a Conformer. Many others here have though, so I suggest you throw the question open to the forum. Sorry to be of no help.
*yucky* Poor pre & post natal nutrition, high bacterial loads of human pathogens & high parasite loads coupled with a diet relatively high in bulk & low in protein & animal fats, particularly saturated fats. (MMmmm saturated fats!)
Oh, Canada
>sigh<...I remember going to Canada on .65 Loonies, ya' felt like a king, you did... those days are gone. This is Canada's Century, IMHO. They own the 2nd largest proven oil fields on earth & something like 35% of the fresh water on the planet. Let's "liberate" Canada! Who's with...

and besides in For Whom the Bell Tolls Gary Cooper has a great proto- "Indiana Jones" thing goin' & Bergman... what can I say? She simply never looked lovelier...
Cool, I wondered when these guys would get some more fur felts in. If you recall, we-un's of TFL drove these folks near to crazy a couple of years back when they had Akubras at nickles on the dollar.
I haven't purchased one of these yet, so I cannot vouch for anything other than their modest...
Hiya Sweep'
Welcome to the party. Go take a look at hornetshats.com. they can make a foldaway, or many other styles, to your specs in one of over a dozen colors. I have had nothing but exemplary service & product from these fellas, tho' others here disagree. The cost savings more than makes up...
New (to me) Peter Bros. "Michaelson Indy" Borsalino- Clipper Gray
Stoopid cheap on a BIN some months back. Nice felt, my first time to handle a contemporary Borsalino. Can't compare to vintage, needless to say, for one thing; the felt is much thicker. A thickness not unlike a western, but...
