Josh: Exquisite! Incredible ribbon and sweatband details. Just an amazing lid! :eusa_clap
Alan: Beautiful hat, and so appropriate it is returning to Buffalo. Really looking forward to your always wonderful photos.
Lefty: Always a pleasure to see that Air Light. Astonishing color!
Thanks again, Neo! This particular seller had only this one hat that he was selling, which he said belonged to his grandfather. There were quite a few nice 7-3/8 lids the past few weeks. At least there are more 7-3/8s available than 7-1/2s.
Thank you, Lefty!
Rob: Thank you, kind Sir!
Dan: The seller believed that the numbers 5/31 written on the tag indicated that his grandfather purchased the hat in May of 1931. However, as Brad very astutely noted, those numbers could represent 5131, the Block Number. Brad believes the hat to be of '30s...

Thank you, Mike! Fantastic VS! Love that Steel, a seldom encountered color from Art.

Great hats all around today.
Mike: Lovely Lee.
David: Wow, that is a wonderfully tall crown on your VS!
Alan: Beautiful 7XCB.
adouglasmhor: Nice cap, and welcome to the lounge.
TheBeak: You wear that Resistol Milan very well.
I wore my 1931 Dobbs today.

1931 Dated Dobbs
My oldest fedora to date. Lightweight, mocha heather finish felt easily dry creased. Purchased from the original owner's grandson via the 'Bay. Already one of my favorites.
Crown: 6" open. 5-1/4" as I have it currently creased.
Ribbon: 1-3/4".
Brim: 2-1/4", with...
Alan: Thanks, you are much too kind! That shadow is our son Ryan. Had to get off the trail and scramble over some ice covered terrain to get this shot, so my 'usual' photographer was replaced.
Alex: Appreciate your nice remarks very much. It will take me some time to sort through all...
