Hi, I'm afraid I'm too late with my reply but still.
I have a Fitbit one and Surge. I'm into healthy eating and sports. I'm not a professional sportsman, just like doing it. I do a lot of activities: yoga, running, weights, walking. Therefore the Surge is a perfect device: I can set an activity...
Definitely, John. But what is the manufacturer of the jacket? Is it the B2? As far as I know BR have the same collar snap and two buttons as LW do, don't they?
Hey Noel, that's absolutely the same thing I do. I'm already pretty experienced in doing that. The only issue left is when I 'm out and there's a "minus", the jacket gets stiffer and I can't do that and just use the collar buttons leaving the stud unfastened. Thanks for your reply, now I know I...
By the way, this is a Buzz Rickson's B2. Their collar snap looks the same. I think this type of snap is a matter of athenticity. The only difference is that the BR's leather is softer hence easier to fasten the snap. But a bigger snap could be a solution to the issue.
Hi all B2 owners, would like to ask you how do you handle the collar snap? When the jacket is on I have a hard time clasping it. The snap itself is very small. What about you?
I got the jacket yesterday and my only issue is the collar stud. I have a hard time clasping it while the jacket is on. How did you handle that? Or, possibly, you don't use it at all? There are the two collar buttons that are enough to keep freeze off, but I like the collar strap with that...
I'm a pretty tall guy with gorilla arms so I usually prefer custom jackets. Those BR B2 are great, but the biggest size they make is too big for me at the chest but too short in sleeves and body.
Thanks for the information, Noel. I haven't even been able to find out the story of the jacket. It's a great jacket and has the best of both worlds: it's warm like the B3 and durable like the B2. A LW B2 is Alpaca lined, which makes it very warm too, thus providing the versatility for the...
Never heard of the B1. Looked it up on the net and found no info actually. What is the jacket, Edward? There are a few different jackets I found that called B1, but they don't look similar.
Derived from full length leather flight suits of the 1920s, the rare B-2 was procured for only two years by the AAC before replacement by the famed B-3. Doubtless the reasons were warmth, labor intensity and cost. The all-sheepskin B-3 was warmer, easier and cheaper to make. The B-2 hearkens...
Yes, it's a pleasant feeling. Believe it or not but my 3 oz peacot makes more noise then 4 oz Suburban. The Suburban leather is kinda more oil-stuffed and a bit softer though heavier. Weird:-)
