Estaban - I'd love to see that one you wore at Belper again - not often you see them with blue on. Hal - Thanks for the compliments! I completely agree - but really I find these type of ties incredibly vibrant but in an understated way. Especially those two-tone ones like the Braespun I posted...- Eddie Derbyshire

Some more. This I believe is silk, unlined, 52" long and 2 1/4" wide at the blade. No labels, very supple fabric: These are two 'Suprama, Rhodia' ties - both unlined, both 50" long and 3" wide, and both with the same labels (I've just flipped them for the photos). I am a big fan of the Munrospun style of woven tie - there's so much depth of colour, and even what appears to be the plainest weave at first glance shows a myriad of colours upon further inspection. Here's a couple. Both the same apart from colour, I think they are a Rayon weave. Measuring in at 50" long and 3" wide at the blade. No labels to speak of. TwoTypes - the blue one looks uncannily like the French one on the left you posted.- Eddie Derbyshire

Annixter - sorry but I'm afraid that one got snapped early! TT - the striped one is spoken for I'm afraid, but the hand knit is yours. I like fairly subdued colours, in wool or silk (or tebilized rayon ). Generally the more 'British' patterns.- Eddie Derbyshire

Here's some more: This is a 'Vivax' Terylene with a shop label: 'Hyde Park 4330 - H. Fisher - 285, Regent Street, London W.I.'. Decent width and 54". An odd one.
