What was the last TV show you watched?

Chasing Classic Cars. I don't fully watch the episodes, fast forward through all the cars I don't care for. I could care less about big boat muscle cars and Corvette's these days! Love when an unusual off the wall car is shown.

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Unfortunately, I saw it when it came out. Then, for the next decade, wherever pilots gathered it was playing on the VCR!

What was the last TV show you watched?

If you want the real first run experience of the original Star Trek series, you have to watch it in Black & White on a set smaller then 19", and with a little snow thrown in! ;)

Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime?

Actually, we still have door to door meat solicitors. It's mostly elk and deer, out of a freezer on the back of a pickup truck.

    The Decaying Evolution of Education...

Alberta Martin married Jasper Martin in 1927. Upon his death, she married the Grandson, from Jasper's first marriage! Maudie Celia Hopkins was the last known Civil War Bride, dying 2008. She married William M. Cantrell, February 2, 1934, she was 19. I wonder when the last marriage was and how...

    The Decaying Evolution of Education...

Actually, there are 855,070 WWII Veterans still alive. There may be less as of today, since they are dying at a rate of 492 a day. When my Father died in 2002, the rate was well over 1,000 a day.

Actually, there were a few more attacks on main land USA. The one you sight, led to the famous Battle of Los Angeles the next day, which was used for the comedy movie 1941. June 21, 1942, the Japanese submarine I-25 surfaced in the mouth of the Columbia river, and shelled Fort Stevens with it's...

You know you are getting old when:

Several of my neighbors have chickens, and we are smack dab in the middle of a city of over 400,000 people.

What was the last TV show you watched?

American Experience: The Boys of 36. The forgotten story of the working class rowing team from the University of Washington, that showed against all odds their superiority over the master race in the 36 Olympics! I like how they responded to the NAZI salute by saying, "Heil Roosevelt!"

What was the last TV show you watched?

Colorado Experience: Amache. The Japanese American internment camp down by Granada, Colorado. Interesting! Governor Ralph L. Carr, championed the rights of these citizens, this of course ended his carrier with both parties. Amache had the most volunteers for the armed forces of any of the camps...

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Bombers B-52 (1957) Worth watching, just to see a BUFF refuel from a KC97 Stratotanker! Also great to hear a radial engine helicopter taking off and landing!

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

It was every bit as vile in past times. Yes, they question the size of, well everything on John Adams! Just look at this small sample of cartoons. Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, and Abe Lincoln!

New Film - Dunkirk, Directed by Christopher Nolan

I just hope they don't leave out the heroic rearguard action by the French and Scottish troops that made the evacuation possible! http://punditwire.com/2012/11/29/scotlands-forgotten-heroes/
