I use Captain Fawcett’s Beer’d shampoo for my ‘tache and have flakes no more, I also use his beard oil, balm and moustache wax

Don’t get a cold, easier said than done but I don’t find it a problem, you just have to find a way of blowing your nose so as to avoid contamination.

Thank you, of course the style you choose is up to you but personally I think your current style suits you very well, there’s not many people that can wear a pencil moustache well but you seem to be one, Terry Thomas and Leslie Phillips could so you’re in good company there,
Ding dong...
I think it suits you, wearing a moustache is your choice and don’t let the naysayers put you of, the worst stage for me was the dodgy seventies adult film star look but it’s now doing ok
I sometimes heavily wax the end and go full on English but I’m off today so natural it is.
Grooming is...
Vintage boater here
Forgive the unshaven look but it’s the weekend
Dad’s here and he’s wearing a straw hat of a different sort
He’s looking a bit grumpy but he’s a pussycat really

I would call that a “Cambridge” as worn by Sir Winston Churchill
Still made by Lock and Co today
A hat I’d love to own

Hello folks, in the garden again with a nice cuppa and a Dobbs straw hat of some description.
Anyone know the name of this hat?
I just call him Brian at the moment [emoji854]

Have a prayer from me my friend, I was lucky to get great treatment fast when I had meningitis, and came through with no lasting side effects, I hope that the same happens for your sister.

In the garden with my vintage “Sport” straw cap
I’ve no idea about this hat but I like it, what age do you think?
Please excuse my not wearing a tie but I’m on my day off.

I know what you mean about the sword stick Edward, I’m in the UK too, I purchased it from a Reputable Stick dealer at the antiques fair and unusually for a fair got a receipt for both sticks just to say that the sword stick was a genuine antique and could be sold, it’s also had the sharp edge...
The monocular is fixed but it’s very comfortable in the hand, I think it’s made of an early plastic pretending to be ivory, the magnification is as you say 3X-5X at best but it’s enough and a nice little gadget to have

I went to a large antiques and collectibles fair today with my brother, loads of great stuff but these two sticks called out to me
The first is an Indian (probably) sword stick
The second is this charming Opera stick
I love them, what do you all think?
