One word.. Quality.
I think the hat looks great Marc... That is the best looking custom hat I have ever seen on Douglas.
I like the way he blocked it very much. This hat fits the man.
The roan leather sweat band looks very vintage and I love that it does not have that ugly gold line on...
Want a laugh? I just got a message from Gladhatter on eBay congratulating me on that auction and inviting me to visit his forum.
Sorry, I ain't that big a sucker!
Turn him in to Ebay for spaming you... He trolls the net to peddle his overpriced xxxxxxxx hats. Biggest joke in the hat...

I have both and I like to wear them with my Montecristi Panama hats...
What a hatter...
All I can say is every hat Art Fawcett makes, each hat gets better and better.
He hand makes them and even hand sews the sweat band in the hat. :D
Weight is 1 ounce...
I would buy one of them as a travel fedora... When I had the felt a Humming bird flew by and his wind from his wings dented the hat...LOL...:D :) :D
Steve,
Sent the hat body out for people to see the felt... He put on a used ribbon and sweat band so the hat body would have some shape to it.
It is not a finished hat...People wanted to see a light weight hat body and at 75 grams it is.
I hope it can be sent to John, Besdor, Brad Bowers...
