What was the last TV show you watched?

Of course, if Hunter had become the Captain of the Enterprise, he never would have been injured by the explosion while filming in Spain. So he would most likely have survived at least long enough to make all the Trek movies! He would have turned 90 this year.

    Autumnal Thoughts........

Last month, my welder gave me a 2017 Warbird calendar! I am grateful for it, but 2016 wasn't even two thirds of the way done!

You know you are getting old when:

I just noticed an interesting thing about the Monkee's. It appears that a lot of their fans were either to young or not born while their show was new. Most of the people I know who were around during first run, either hate them, or like my self, are just not fans. I wounder why? Were we just...

USAF N-3B parkas - Let's talk about them!!

Congratulations! I am not sure on the insulation distribution, mines a 70s issue. I can tell you, if it's like mine, even when it is below zero it gets really hot if you are shoveling snow!

    Terms Which Have Disappeared

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Davy Crockett & The River Pirates. (1956) Disney sap at it's finest! Still, I still liked it after all these years. Fun to see a pre Jeb Clampett, AKA Buddy Ebsen!

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

Key boards that don't transmit the letter, or capitalize the letter when you strike that key! I am getting tired of having to do an extra thorough proof reading job. I am not a newspaper editor!

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

My Dad showed me how to tie double knot so the other kids could not easily untie my shoe laces. Worked like a charm, so I still tie double to this day.

    Autumnal Thoughts........

Yesterday we did the Ed Kretz memorial ride. Freezing cold on the motorcycle ride there. About perfect during the group ride, and to hot on the ride home. I did layer, but was down to my tee shirt once I hit town!

The cat was probably thinking, "oh great, who's going to change my litter box now?"

I didn't scream, all the macho male crud, which was stupid. Still, I would not wish that pain on my worst enemy!

"Star Trek": 50 years ago today

I did not see it until the 70s. I believe My Three Sons was opposite it, so there was no way I was going to be allowed to change the channel! Oddly, I was allowed to watch the Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. I really don't remember any one talking much about Star Trek until the movie came...

I take it your insurance isn't very good? I was lucky, and well insured at the time. I felt bad, as they took me in very quickly after I arrived, before the man next to me who was vomiting blood! I did speak up on his behalf, they told me not to worry and just concentrate on myself. That is...
