Thanks! They do indeed - they're very nice items all together really. I've come across adverts for them in newspapers but not very often.

Thanks for the details Bob. The one I have is only about an inch!
Some British ties now:
A 'Munrospun', with a cute little ram on it:
Here, my favourite brand, 'Klipper', and a brand I've never heard of, 'Baratex'. I assume it's British - maybe someone can confirm?
A really nice yellow...
A nice red Munrospun. I've got loads of nice vintage red ties now. I'm thinking of starting up a business - 'The Well-Dressed Soviet'. It might take off. Irony is very popular.
This one with a nice little ram/sheep on it. I've got another with that on too.
Munrospun, Sammy, and Munrospun. I...
A white Tootal scarf, in absolutely immaculate condition. The fabric is very light, and feels very much like the cotton and rayon blend you get with the 'Standard'/'Blue' Quality ties, not like the usual scarves (presumably because the normal scarves are for warmth, whereas this was to wear with...
OK, I'll scan it in at some point. The illustrations are nice, and some are clearly are quite old-fashioned at the point of publication, implying different editions over time.
Yes, I've got to side with AntonAAK! It's two buttons for me. After all, cravats are at MOST casual-wear. I think it takes an extra, concerted, effort to start looking 'foppish' - don't blame the cravat! ;)

Ladies and Gents, I've got a booklet from Burtons the Tailors, published 1948, on measuring up customers for a suit. Is it something people might be interested in seeing? I think it's pretty rare - it was never for sale, and was strictly only for Burtons employees to see. It has some...
Hi PeterB,
Sorry for the late reply. Nothing drastic really, but I wanted the buttons in line with the pockets, i.e. bottom button in line with the hips pockets. However, with having that ticket pocket, it looks OK. With buttons the way they are, it fastens with a bit of a pull. Just me being...
That's a nice one! Subtle but with a bit of fun. How wide is it? I've got a similar label on a super-skinny Wembley.

Hello folks. Here are my most recent acquisitions.
A really nice 'Green Quality'. I don't know if it's a 'real' Tartan, but either way it's very nice. Will be great for Xmas. Also, an unusual Paisley 'Special Quality' (similar to the one you have TT?).
I managed to find another All Rayon...
Nice! Very unusual! It's the sixties label (with that Woolmark that we've discussed before) but of a less common width than most from that era. Looks like camo! Nice find!

Just given a couple of recent acquisitions a wash and they've come out okay. AND I took your advice esteban68 and soaked that 'Red' for a while and it's improved it an awful lot. I think the stain has left some permanent damage though but it's hardly detectable now. So thanks for that! :)...
