Me too neither, thus the interrogative. :D
The 2 3/8" brim is consistent with the modern production model, however, is it not?
I have seen the liner somewhere tho'...damned if I can recall where! [huh]
Whatsa' story, Mr. Bond?
$65 Open Road style Stetson, 4x, brown sweat, 7 3/8 plain white liner with "Stetson" in Script (i.e. NOT the diamond liner).
Looks contemporary or "late model". Price is right, tho'.
Shameless appropriation!
This is on a Brazilian made Cury. Nice hat.
It appears that the bunny from "Monty Python & the Holy Grail" is about to bring his terrible wrath upon the hopeless, trademark infringing Cowpoke or his thirsty horse! :eeek:
Expanding my horizons
Just started watching "Breaking Bad" so naturally I had to get a black pork pie
This is a "Crosby slim n trim model with hand felted edges".
I am trying to warm up to narrower brims... this may be just jumping off the end of the dock, tho'! lol
Moore Hat Co. "Home of the Bulldogger" Lawton, OK. c. 194o's - 5o's?
Got this just now, I think it has promise & may be 40+ yo. I love the logo, the slogan &the box (hat ain't bad neither!). Looks like a dress fur felt (seller had it listed as "wool", I think she's mistaken) ...guess I'll see...
Is it rigid or flexible? A good candidate for a fedora re-crease? Sweat tight and w/o rot, 'cuz I'm a solid 7 3/8 & it sounds like it'll need a stretch.
And what size are you looking to trade for?
Thanks,
RB
