Flo, there are already photos of the suit here:

i believe the auction was ended by a buy-it-now being added, so Barmey may be the buyer.
Fastuni, probably more like £500, but you never know what can happen on ebay when bidders get carried away.
TT, i would have thought it was too small for Barmey. the measurements read as 34-35 chest maximum.
by 'tunic' are you talking about a collar-less shirt that has a stand ? (sometimes called a 'grandad' shirt in the UK).
if so, a competent sewist should be able to remove the collar from the stand of one shirt and insert it into the stand of another.
(the stand is the neck-band part which...
i admit to never having had to consider what employers would make of my dress sense (having always worked in a 'creative' industry).
i dress according to what i like which -at present - will be something between 1918 and 1952. ;)
i find it hard to believe that an employer would get worked...

however, you need only wander down Savile Row or Jermyn Street to see...

are you one of those Americans who thinks that if you visit england it will be like stepping into an episode of Poirot ? ;)
depends what weight you require i.e. what temperature you'll be wearing the suit in. the Dugdale range you linked to is 13-14oz, whereas the Fox is 18oz.
personally i'd go for the 18oz every time, but i live in chilly old England and don't wear wool suits in the summer. i also think the pattern...
i haven't seen the book yet but apparently it contains articles from the first four issues.
there's a photo of me taken at Goodwood '13 in the new issue 11. also, smaller photos of Barmey and ex-lounger Salv on the opposite page.
the copy i have doesn't have the Clutch half so i still haven't...
