    Danger!

This story makes me think the father and his son must have had a history of violence; or at least the father does. There's no way the father had never previously gotten angry with his son if all it took this time was his son wearing a hat in church. That's one strange story. If I ever...

WHO made Johnny Depps hats for Public Enemies

We should all practice putting on our fedoras that way. Like the others here, I hope the music in the trailer is not what they end up using. I highly doubt they will use it, but then, you never know. Still, I'm looking forward to this movie's release.

Brims - How do you like them

My first thought would be to keep the brim up all around. That may be because, to me, the crown crease looks more like what I've seen on the majority of homburgs. However, show me a pic of it with the brim snapped, and I may change my mind.

    The fall of the phone

Several cities in New Mexico have the "hands free law" (Santa Fe and Albuquerque for two), yet I fail to see how these laws will ever be enforced. It certainly hasn't done much around here, as I still see dozens of people talking on their phones in traffic. Also, apparently a certain...

HELP I'm writing a paper for school...

    1. I initially started wearing a fedora because I wanted to dress like the gumshoes in all the film noir movies. Once I got my first few hats, I began to wear them for many more reasons than just because they made me look like a detective. I found they truly fit my personality. 2. By now I've...

How do you store your hats?

My addiction has reached a new level... So, after years of storing my hats on the side of a wall with the aid of "push pins" to keep them hanging, I finally have a hat stand. I found this one off of ebay for a pretty good deal ($50 total), and it holds up to eight hats. I'll rotate hats...

    Post New Hats Here!

GoneSolo, the hat in my avatar is an Adam Executive from the 50's. It was featured in one of Johnnyphi's auctions. The original posting I made about it is here: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=31275&page=2 about halfway down the page. Thanks for the complement by the way! :)

Nice specimen of a homburg, Cowboy. Some others here may be more able to give you an age range.

Muy Bien! Enjoy the hat, portolan. To be honest, I'd been fighting myself over this one for several days, and I'm relieved that my struggle is now over! :D

On giving your opinions of photographs showing fellow Loungers wearing their new hats

I agree with your post here, DJ. I only hope that the majority of individuals who post pictures of themselves in their hats will be open to any and all constructive criticism, though I already believe this is probably the case. I would include myself in the group of people that would prefer to...
