While I was digging out the other Yugo I had to pull out a interarms mark 10 in 308. The rifle was made in England and is beautifully made. The craftsmanship of this rifle harkens back to the old days of the 50s and early 60s when most all hunting rifles were well made- SurfGent

This rifle had a unique stock. The pattern of the grain and the dings and nicks and rough and tough sort of nature really has alot of character. This peice of elm from the forests of Yugoslavia has a new life. Ocean's away from its home land and no doubt it will be loved and cared for as it was...- SurfGent

I think it's all about what level of restoration you are going for, Completely reblueing all parts and going for that level of restoration may warrent more attention to the furniture. But for a Cosmo clean to shoot. My dawn and linseed oil prescription for this gun did the trick.- SurfGent

So a little Dawn soap and really hot water goes a long way. Now a little light touch with some 325 grt follow with some boiled linseed oil and a rag and will be good to go- SurfGent

I'm gonna scrub the stock today see if I can get the results I want with just a little soap and water. I'd like to leave it original as possible. Shiny new looking stocks are nice but I don't want to rub away any of the glory of this old war horse.- SurfGent
