zetwal, Ale, Randall, Alan, BR, Perry, and Manfred, I am much obliged for your very kind words! :yo:
Perry: Dapper in the Graham reno!
Manfred: You are a Homburg natural, and that Wegener is just stellar!
Jabus: You look great in the Stetson Drury, but I think you can easily carry...
Lovely Milan, Ed. Vintage Milans certainly enjoyed the widest range of pug colors and designs of any hat.
What happened to Fawcett Friday, David? lol Wonderful looking Alessandria with exquisite color!
I agree, Josh. Gordon Hats are definitely deserving of a thread documenting their history as well as examples of their fine hats.
Here are a few photos of my Gordon Hats box, tucked away in an attic for decades and brought to a small antiques show in St. Paul last month, sadly without the...
Very nice, Josh, and very, very rare. With its St. Paul, Minnesota roots and colorful history, the Gordon & Ferguson Co. is of particular interest to me. I recently found a beautiful '20s-'30s Gordon hat box from out of the woodwork here in Minnesota but have yet to stumble upon a Gordon fedora.
Thanks, my friend! :yo:
Looking cool and indeed, Alejandro-esque, Brando, but with your own swagger.
I note with interest that the specs went back on with your Executive, Perry. Not used to seeing you without them! :) Oh, and thank you very much for your kind comments, dude!
Mighty...
Thanks, Ale! That Borsalino is really splendid. Substantial felt, with some very intriguing, obliquely applied basting stitches over the bow.
Great looking O.R., Jared.
Glad you enjoyed the photos, Randall, and thanks for the kind words. I will pass along your compliments to Lydia...
To Snap Or Not To Snap
A chance meeting with Robert in the parking lot at Optimo last Saturday:
Robert sported a beautiful vintage Borsalino. I will defer to Robert to elaborate on this great hat.
It was a pleasure to meet...
Great old melone, Steve. Looks like a nice tall crown.
Good looking lid, Mike.
Distinctive, if not aerodynamic crease you are sporting today, Perry. ;)
Fantastic! A big congrats on a fine new lid! :eusa_clap
Indeed, these past few days have been deplorable for hat wearing here in...
I am absolutely devastated to see the damage your hat incurred in transit, Josh, and sincerely hope you will not be saddened by this for too long. Perhaps you should have Graham take a look at it to see it anything can be done to restore it as much as is technically possible. It would be a...
Thanks, David, you are most kind!
Thank you, my friend! I absolutely adore this lid.
I really appreciate your kind comments, Ed!
Your Whippet looks outstanding from all angles, in my humble opinion! Thank you for your kind words as well.
Many thanks for your always nice...
A few of the hats I wore on Holy Saturday in Chicago:
Examining and discussing Montecristis with Graham.
Montecristi Homburg.
Another beautiful optimo.
Evaluating and admiring some amazing Montecristi bodies.
Back at Holy Name Cathedral in the afternoon.
Outside the...
