    ever tried Puerto Rican "Cuchifritos"

I've never tried that myself but it does look good. Great....now I'm hungry I wouldn't be surprised to see Andrew Zimmern from Bizarre Foods peeking over that counter.

DEATHS ; Notable Passings; The Thread to Pay Last Respects

My Dad was a die hard Brooklyn Dodgers fan as a kid in the 50's. And he grew up in of all places Sudbury, Ontario Canada. Duke Snider was probably his favorite player.

    More than one twisted cross?

If you watch enough old Kung Fu movies you'll see them also pop up from time to time. Especially if the movie involves a Buddhist monk. Master of the Flying Guillotine

1980's classic "Arthur" gets a remake

I don't get Russell Brand. He isn't funny, he just isn't. He may get a little buzz with this in the US because of Katy Perry, but I bet this is a one weekend film. And I might add the trailer for it looked aweful.

My New Whippet... the good news and the bad

If its just slightly large on your noggin I would keep it. You may be just obsessing on the fact that it is not the size you thought(I am guilty of this all the time). I've found that felt strips are great behind the sweat band. I have a couple that are slightly too big and I've used the felt on...

I've bought a few bow ties at the thetiebar and have been very happy with them thus far. I think the prices are very reasonable too. http://www.thetiebar.com/

    Help Skyvue pick new eyeglasses

I'm probably late as well but on your face I prefer the plastic framed ones. I'm a life long eyeglass wearer so I know how tough it can be to pick frames. Good luck!

    Incredibly important jazz collection found

And with the way their business model has been crapping out over the last 10yrs I can't see them letting this go, as small as an audience for these recordings there may be. Maybe we'll get lucky and someone wil magically release them on to the internets.

Always Coca-Cola? Ain't Nothin' Like The Real Thing!

The "Throwback" Pepsi, Mountain Dew & Dr. Pepper are back until I believe September. So get while the gettin's good. I love the Mnt Dew myself. They should just go back to using sugar and be done with it instead of these limited release things.

Hat Wearers: You're Just Trying to Be Don Draper. Stop It.

That's pretty much how I view it as well. Whenever I wear a suit or a nice hat I get nothing but good vibes and positive comments. I wear what I want and don't even think about what anyone has to say about it. I raise a big ole cup o' meh to the article and that board.

1983 Hat styles and Danbury CT. history

I grew up in Danbury, CT..aka Hat City I toured the old Mallory Hat Factory as cub a scout with my troop and my mom. They were producing Stetsons at the time. The smokestack said Mallory in big letters going down the side of it which always impressed me. I can still remember the smell of the...

    Do You Own an AMT3000?

Well I've soldered electric guitars and other electronic gizmos so I figure if I take my time I should be okay. Plus I saved 50$ in doing so. I did take a look at lowpoweredradio for their assembled ones, but then decided to take on the challenge. Interestingly enough it looks like the owner...
