    QUICKIE-MALROV 6-7/8 Gray w/detailed Ribbon

I've been admiring that ribbon treatment for several days. Do you know if it rings true to a 6 7/8, or is it loose for a 6 7/8? Any idea of the circumference? Thanks. :)

    YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT!!!

That's pretty entertaining. What is considered a good score? I got just over 7,000 and it told me "bad luck, partner". I thought I did pretty decent, considering the kid kept saying "nice shot", and I only hurt myself once. [huh] lol

    Post New Hats Here!

That's a very nice lid, and you wear it well! I agree, the foam inserts should help a lot. Even a little bit of tissue placed behind the sweatband can help. I'm looking forward to the pictures of your modified crown.

    New Hats and Rain

It does seem to be Murphy's Law that it starts raining just when you want to wear a new hat. Most often these days, if I know I have a good quality hat, I'll wear it in the rain. I guess I mainly learned this from Art Fawcett with my VS custom. He always tells folks his hats are made to be...

    Bailey hats.

I've definitely had a few Bailey's in my time so far. They definitely have a place in the wide community of hats. I would say they do a good job of getting some non-hardcore hat wearers away from the baseball cap, and may over time, influence some wearers to step up to more expensive, higher...

    Transmitting your own signal

Speaking of experience, I would say that building the SSTran from a kit is not too difficult as long as you're comfortable with electronic kit instructions, and are used to soldering and have a good soldering kit. I tried building the kit from scratch, however, my soldiering gun point and...

    Transmitting your own signal

Gorgeous radio, chrismak. Thanks for posting a picture of it! I too use the SSTran Lizzie mentioned for broadcasting music and radio shows. It works very well. However, the method ForgottenMan suggested works just as well too.

    Maltese Falcon

Now that's cool! Where did you find that? While I was searching, I did a google image search for "Continental Detective Agency" since I knew that's where Hammett originally wrote that Spade worked, yet I couldn't find any images.
