The Stetsonian looks like a nice hat. However , I don't think it will appeal to the masses as the style today is to get the smallest brim possible. We are getting requests from the public for hats with brims of 1 5/8" to 2. The lower the crown the better. -

There are colors such as Taupe( in Italian Monlov) that are difficult to photograph. They also come in different every time. We can get two or three deliveries a year from Borsalino and each group will look different. -

The box seems late 1950s -early 1960s .After that Flechet was sending much to the USA. But the size of the brim seems to be late 1950's. -

People understood quality more back then. To get someone to spend 200 for a hat today is quite a task. Back then, a person spent 10 on a hat quite often. -

Stetson 100's are the most common of the "100" hats. I have a Cavanaugh 100 (later model) but this Dobbs is from the 1940s so its a true vintage piece. -

The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD
If the hat is from the 1970's , then its pre 1976 as Borsalino changed the body sticker that year to a somewhat computerized version. I think the hats is more 1960's. -
