Can anyone give a comparison between this soft HH and vicenza?
All I can add is that the jacket seems quite light weight....when I picked up the parcel it was hard to believe there was an Aero leather jacket inside.
Just received my Aero A2 Bronco and I couldn't be happier with it. Ever since I saw a picture of one of Aero's Japanese dealers wearing a black A2 with olive knits, its the jacket I have desired. Fast forward a few years and I was finally able to pull the trigger. Visiting Aero for a fitting...
I can report back in about 10 years and let ya'll know how the 'soft steer' has aged......but in meantime does anybody have an Aero jacket in soft steer thats properly broken in......am still not convinced I've made the right choice....
My recollection is that it has a matt finish - and that it looks and feels ready to wear, with out the stiffness you would associate with some of the heavier gage leathers. The jacket I tried on did not feel heavy, or stiff.
Unfortunately I am anticipating a longer wait due to recent developments......
I was down at the factory last week talking to Denny about my requirements and he suggested the soft steer. I tried on a jacket off the rail and it just felt right......so I went with it. Not entirely sure I've made...
man thats some crappy news.....was down there last Thursday and I was very impressed with the shop set-up they have going. Not sure how they will dispose of 100+ jackets........I will be sure to keep my eyes peeled.
Fingers crossed the cops can catch 'em and return the stock......but of course...
Placed an order today at Aero for a 'Bronco' A2 in soft black steer, with olive knits & olive cotton drill lining. Basically a civilian A2......now the wait begins....
