Stetson today.
After getting ticketed for no car insurance I went to get some, and was offered a job selling insurance based of my attire and manners. One of the stranger things that's happened in recent memory.
I dig em. While I'm typically a fan of "fancy" logos, like Dobbs' golden coach, or Stetson's coat of arms or whatever it is, or script writing, etc, this offers a different take on things. And it fits the Alley Cat name.
Like my hats, when I've got an aged spot, a knick, a crack, a ding, a dent, or anything else on my guitars, I like having a story that goes with it. Saying "I bought it new that way" or "I did that on purpose because it's cool" is the exact opposite of cool if you ask me. Real aging has stories...
It's definitely not tall enough to do much with. But, it's still a great hat. Best felt of any hat I've ever owned. Biltmore makes a damn fine hat, even when they're tapered.
