    The D-pocket is gone completely, and it looks like someone buffed the sleeves with a belt sander until the top coat was removed. I've never seen such uneven wear between the body and sleeves. What could cause this?

    I can't say I'm a fan of the braid work look, but 2.0mm = 5 oz. if this maker has other styles, they'd be worth looking into.

    That and the open seam on the sleeve cuff. You'll see Johnson Leathers jackets for around $200-400, needing a repair like that, I'd have to knock about $50 off that. It'd be reasonable with free shipping if you can fix that seam economically.

    Anyone spec'ed leather jacket with alpaca wool in sleeves?

    My half belt deluxe is lined in alpaca, with cotton drill in the sleeves. I have no problems with the lining, which is warm but not super warm. For warmth in cold weather I layer under with a wool sweater.
