Yeah, I know what you mean. A little concerned about his health as he seems quite a bit over weight.

Who's your favorite "blues" guitar player? (dead or alive)

"not flashy, not a shredder"... good! As I'm sure you know, it's as much about the spaces between the notes as the notes themselves. btw: great story. I love John Hammond but I've only seen him on TV or his video Searching for Robert Johnson.

I'm a sucker for old barns, sheds, etc. This ones a favorite outside Clarksdale, MS. Been told over a hundred years old, porbably built by sharecroppers and that the logs are cypress.

Russel Yann aka "the hotdog nazi" operates Yann's in Fairmont, WV where it's all about the sauce. And for gods sake don't call it chili, and don't EVER ask for ketchup. Who's your favorite "blues" guitar player? (dead or alive)

There's a young guy in Clarksdale, Mississippi that's outstanding. Christone "Kingfish" Ingram is 21 years old and has as what some would say "an old soul". Well worth searching out. He plays the Juke Joint Festival each April, and good lord willing and the Creeks don't rise, aka we're Covid...

    Summertime And The Front Porch

Not exactly summertime (early October this year) and not exactly our own front porch. But Donny Cove on Dumplin Run definitely a front porch I've loved to hang out on over 50 years. Up in the Appalachians of Hardy County, WV only a few miles from the state line and Rockingham County, VA.
