Been watching this thread.... The comments made are indicitave of a bigger issue in modern society: We live in a more or less honorless society. There's a bigger problem that not dressing for formal occasions, failing to remove a hat in a Church/restaurant/etc, and leaving Church or other...- plain old dave

Vintage Heat?
The Highway Patrolman (AKA Model 28) was a .357 Magnum (AKA Model 27) that wasn't polished as well. They postdate the Golden Era, being introduced in the mid 1950s. I have had 2 of them, and regret selling the first one.- plain old dave

New U.S. Air Force uniform protoypes
Random thoughts.... 1) Being an E4 in the US Navy (Reserve Component), my pet peeve is so many of our uniforms require dry cleaning. Dress Whites should be canvas instead of polyester, and "WestPac creases" (sewn in) should be in all working dress uniforms. IMHO the "urban camo" (sic)...- plain old dave
