French Navy might be the ticket for that?

I'm trying to figure out how to justify buying both this one and the same hat in regular navy.....
I remember the first time I wore contacts for an event.... I kept reaching to readjust my glasses, and poking myself in the eye..... It's definitely nice to have a windshield between me and the world!
It's an interesting argument! While I like some of the Beatles stuff (though the Stones could equal them as composers, and for my preferences outstripped them as performers), I am in the camp that considers their significance musically (as opposed to commercially) significantly overrated in the...
I just can't justify another pair of black boots, but anyone wanting some should jump on these! Fingers crossed for a new supplier for Aero and the return of the oxbloods....
I think the only option would be to alter the spec in manufacture - aren't Himel jackets made to order? It does look proportionately short compared to jackets I've owned from other makers, but sleeve length is the one thing that I've found varies so much (probably in the way it's measured, too)...
Probably depends where you were - it's much more common in the North. Round the Causeway Coast, there's a lot of places do a 'soda burger' too - basically a loaded burger (onions, bacon, fried egg...) in one of these. The soda will either be toasted or, more traditionally, buttered and then...
Finished the last one yesterday. They definitely get campier quickly from I think #3 onwards, though I still rather enjoyed them. The 'what ifs' about constitutional law in the last couple especially I rather enjoyed - the sort of speculative stuff that appeals to me. I think they did well in...
Cathart are doing another run of their version the launched a few years ago. Very similar style, though the Cathcart option is zipped - available in navy -

Yeah, Soda in the US simply means a fizzy drink as I understood it. It's a running joke with American tourists arriving in Ireland where a soda is one of these:
The trailer looks interesting, though I think I'll pass on this until it's on the streamers. An interesting story being drawn on, but the trailer feels a bit too mythologised for me, somehow. It'll be interesting to see whether they do address some of the particular challenges of being an...
I can only assume these are designed for people who aren't looking at cowboy boots as a great way to avoid having to be bothered with laces, but have their limit as to how much of a boot they are prepared to lace up!
Fashion, I think. Fifteen years ago in these parts horse - the heavier the better - was seen as the be all and end all by many. One piece backs were also seen as vastly superior to multi-panel designs. In the years since, there's been a growth in popularity of a much wider range of hides...
Me too. There's a clear division here in Outerwear between those who are only interested in a leather jacket as something that gets worn with denim, and those of us who wear it elsewise. I suppose that reflects a split between mid-century ideas of casual, and modern notions of casual. Last time...
Breakfast at Tiffany's is a real classic. I'm always amused at George Peppard's fine performance in this one, given that I'm of a generation whose primary experience of his acting was The A Team. Moon River is wonderful. (It would be, of course - Henry Mancini was a genius.) I do so hope...
I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that the Top Gun jacket was designed deliberately such that it wouldn't technically have been possible for one person to have done everything indicated on it.
Oh, now I do like the Western details, those give it a nice rockabilly edge that I've never seen on anything else. And from experience, a pair of scissors would soon sort out those tassels.
