I've got a Ruger Bisley Vaquero in 45 LC Doc. I haven't shot it either. I didn't know 44 mags were used in Cowboy Action Shooting competitions. Are you using light loaded cartridges in it?
I'm surprised you could buy a tire for your car at a local garage. I have a 1940 Chevy and the tires on it are 6.00 X 16 bias ply. There's no local tire dealer here that stocks tires like that anymore. Have to order them from Coker or some place like that.
This is my very first Sig Deacon. They are kind of pricey and I thought I would sort of just get my feet wet with a cheaper model before jumping in head first.
I'm guessing there's photos in your post HanauMan. Must have to be a special member to see them though. I get a message saying I don't have permission to view them.
An ElFaisin 410 side X side made in Spain. I've had this one for about 20 years. It's not worth much but it has a nostalgic sort of look that appeals to me.
You're most welcome. $60 in 1929 would be equivalent to $847 today, so you did well. It should have the Bulova 9AT movement in it which was made from 1927 to 1931. The correct style hands would be Cathedral hands and not Gothic. I made a mistake on them. If you open the case back you should see...
That's a very nice Bulova, Vintage. The hands aren't radium though. It's probably tritium. Your watch is a Bulova "President Madison" model made in the late 20's. It's suppose to have Gothic style hands.
