That's true, I generally wear felt all year round no matter what the temp, but that's probably because I just haven't found a straw hat that I like. Hopefully I'll find something down here in Florida. -

Just won this 1987 4X beaver Resistol Western Hat. It has a 4 inch brim and appears to be in pretty good shape besides needing a good brushing and shaping. No tags inside so I am not sure what the model is, but since it's a 7 5/8 long oval and fits like a dream, I'm not too worried about it. -

I almost wore a derby today, I'm very glad the Fed IV won out. Jeff, the pipe from yesterday is a Bjarne Nelson packed with the last of my Edwards Supreme. (sadly it has been discontinued.) Fruno, thanks for the compliment, The CEO is my favorite casual hat (fedora wise that is)... -

What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?
Edwards Suprene in a Bjarne nosewarmer. It's the last of that tobacco for some time as my local Edwards pipe shop tells me they aren't producing it anymore. Aargh. It's what I primarily smoked in my pipes for the last thirty years. Oh well time to try some new tobaccos.- Lt.hats
