For sale - Original WW2 N-1 Deck Jacket (size 42)

For sale - an original WW2 N-1 deck jacket, marked size 42. Jacket is in worn condition throughout. Very mild wear to the alpaca in random spots, please see photos. Has what I believe to be a mid-century replacement Talon zipper (zip works well). All buttons including throat button intact and...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Purchased this Horween horsehide half-belt from Mark of NorShor Leathers this week. This is my first modern made leather jacket (I've only collected/worn vintage jackets), so I'm excited to see how modern compares to vintage - based on the photos, I'm sure I'll love it once it arrives. Mark...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Thankya sir. In a perfect world, I would have liked maybe an extra 1/2" length in the sleeves, but that's just me being picky. With my height/weight combo, I feel lucky to find any vintage jacket that fits me well.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Some quick pics of my late 30's Windward - I'm in awe of this jacket and it's insane level of vintage quality.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Rather excited to have won this original Windward horsehide jacket this afternoon. I'm not quite sure why it didn't sell for more money. Unless I missed something, the jacket appears to be in wonderful condition for its age, plus it retains the original zippers. Perhaps the new liner depreciated...

Price drop to $175 shipped CONUS - just looking to move this piece along.

Vanson Raider for sale - size 46

I recently acquired this Vanson Raider - size 46, and must now reluctantly put it up for sale. Fits me perfect everywhere, besides being slightly too short on me in the front. I'm 6'2", and this jacket would fit much better on a person shorter than 6' tall. This jacket is cut to be short in the...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Have this one coming my way - a vintage 60's Endura padded cafe with remnants of the original owners racing numbers, "143".

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Snagged this Vanson Raid(er) off the bay today. I prefer the backside on this older model compared to the Gambler/Arrow. Figured this would curb my appetite for an ELMC Windward, for now. Hoping the size 46 isn't too big  - if so, it'll be offered up in the classifieds.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Vintage padded Bates cafe w/ collar, c. 1960’s. Been wearing this one around the house with the a/c on full blast. The presumed steerhide has some nice grain throughout.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

When first seeing this one, I had hoped it to be a 44/46 as you I’m sure you did. At least you’re gonna make someone happy, it’s a killer jacket!

Thankya - this one has the white label as well. I’m curious if your hide will be similar.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Late 60’s Harley cafe showed up today. Fit is spot on for me, however I was hoping the leather quality to be similar to an earlier one pocket Sportster - it is not. Leather feels like a Brooks in quality and thickness, and is certainly cowhide. Still happy to have found a vintage size 46. @Will...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I think you're right about the label - it would be interesting to find out whom the parent company was. As for the painting on the backside, the vintage dealer called it an iron cross - good of a guess as any I suppose. I imagine it was only significant to the original owner of the jacket.
